1 Mahavrukhsh Puraskar
Instituted in 1993-94, this award is given to owner of the (including Govt) in whose land the tree of the specified species for that year having highest girth and height stands. The award carries a medal and Rs 25000/- in cash.

2. Indira Priyadarshini Vriksha Mitra Award.
This award was instituted in the memory of late Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi. It is given in the field of wasteland Development and carries a medal and Rs 2,50,000 in cash. This award is given in the following four categories

(1) Individuals (including Govt. servants)
(2) Govt. Institutions
(3) Joint Forest Management committees
(4) Non - Govt. organizations.

3. Zille ki Sabse Hari Panchayat
This award is given to the panchayat who has made best efforts in Afforestation in the district. The panchayat should have carried out a plantation in a minimum 10 Ha. of area with at least 750 trees per hectare to be eligible to get the award which is given once in four years in every district. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000.

4. Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puraskar
This annual award is given to individuals/ institution who have done exemplary work in the field of environment protection. It carries a cash award of Rs 1,00,000.
